Aéropostale is an American mall-based specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories aimed at teens and young adults, founded in 1987. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2016 and was acquired out of bankruptcy by a consortium led by Authentic Brands Group, and continues to operate stores and e-commerce today.
