## Required

- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Backend system scaling experience with sharding, partitioning, and horizontal scaling
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges
- Experience with engineering best practices including testing, code review, and resilient architecture
- Ability to meet commitments on time and deliver high-quality, unit-tested, code-reviewed software
- Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and drive business outcomes

## Nice to have

- Exposure to Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, or OpenSearch
- Experience working on security products
