- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 15+ years legal experience including law firm and/or in-house roles
- Strong background in litigation, compliance, and legal counseling
- Experience managing complex commercial disputes and litigation strategy
- Working knowledge of corporate governance and internal controls
- Ability to provide practical legal advice in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience overseeing internal investigations and regulatory responses
- Strong organizational and project management skills

## Nice to have

- Experience managing legal staff, paralegals, or outside counsel relationships
- Experience scaling legal department operations and budgeting
- Employment law experience
- Experience supporting executive leadership on high-risk legal issues
