This role manages the systems that ensure Supabase has enough compute capacity across its regions to serve millions of databases without outages. You'll build forecasting, provisioning automation, and observability to stay ahead of demand and control costs.

## Required

- 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, SRE, platform, or capacity engineering at scale
- Production software engineering experience with owned and operated services
- Infrastructure as Code with Pulumi or Terraform
- AWS EC2 knowledge including instance families, purchase options, capacity reservations, and quotas
- Built or maintained observability systems with metrics and alerting
- Understanding of reservation economics and cost-utilization tradeoffs
- Clear communication across technical and financial audiences

## Nice to have

- SaaS or cloud infrastructure scale experience
- Financial fluency beyond basic tradeoff understanding
- Experience with capacity engineering specifically
