A safety monitor and test operator for autonomous truck development, riding in vehicles during testing to track weather, traffic, vehicle systems, and driver performance while documenting findings for engineers. ## Required

- Computer Science background or strong computer literacy
- Transportation, engineering, or safety knowledge
- Ability to monitor software and read/analyze/type on laptop in moving vehicle for extended periods
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Sound judgment working independently without distractions
- Continuous focus, alertness, and composure in dynamic stressful environments
- Physical ability to climb into and out of trucks and sit 4-10 hours daily
- Valid US driver's license with safe driving record
- 6+ years of US road driving experience
- Compliance with drug and alcohol testing policy
- Ability to travel 1-2 nights per week

## Nice to have

- Linux scripting familiarity
- Transportation and/or logistics knowledge
- Strong organizational skills
- Passion for autonomous vehicles, vehicle maintenance, or long-distance driving
