## Summary

Relativity Space seeks a senior engineer to own the development and validation of test processes for pneumatic and mechanical systems across their rocket manufacturing operation. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting on the production floor with cross-functional leadership to optimize how the company builds and tests flight hardware at scale.

## Required

- BS in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years building and testing hardware in manufacturing
- Experience authoring test procedures for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies
- Experience partnering with design and manufacturing teams to execute tests and investigate failures
- Experience designing and implementing large-scope test systems and process improvements
- Expert knowledge of safety standards and test hazards
- Hands-on experience in at least two of: electromechanical/pneumatic assembly, electrical/pneumatic checkouts, integrated testing, leak checking, sensor checkouts, high-voltage systems, high-pressure pneumatic systems, or instrumentation setup

## Nice to have

- Self-starter with track record defining testing processes and managing projects in fast-paced production environments
- Knowledge of rocket subsystems including structures, mechanisms, high-pressure gas systems and avionics
- Experience planning and conducting hazardous operations for aerospace hardware
- Knowledge of industry standards like SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-1540D, MIL-STD-810G
- Experience with test automation and electrical/pressure test equipment
