## Summary

Crusoe is hiring a junior field engineer to support large-scale power generation and AI data center construction projects, learning inspection, documentation, and coordination skills under a senior engineer's mentorship. This role suits someone with a few years of power or industrial construction experience who wants hands-on exposure to commissioning, scheduling, and multi-discipline coordination on infrastructure builds.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Construction Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of field engineering, construction management, or inspection experience on power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects
- Foundational knowledge of concrete construction, structural steel erection, electrical power systems installation, and piping systems
- Familiarity with power generation equipment including gas turbines, reciprocating engines, generators, and switchgear
- Experience with contractor submittals, RFI, and construction execution document review
- Ability to perform extended site assignments and resident assignment during peak construction phases
- Pass background check and drug/alcohol screening; mandatory participation in company safety programs
- Physical ability to traverse active construction sites, climb ladders and scaffolding, lift up to 40 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

## Nice to have

- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or pursuing FE/PE licensure
- Prior experience with data center power infrastructure or modular substation execution
