- Infrastructure as code with Terraform at scale
- Kubernetes experience with EKS/GKE, Helm, and GitOps
- CI/CD pipelines experience in monorepo or multi-service environment
- Modern observability tooling such as Datadog
- Production systems support and on-call experience
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Scripting and SQL capability
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Leadership through influence and mentoring ability

## Nice to have

- Edge and zero-trust networking experience (Cloudflare, Envoy/Gloo)
- Data and streaming infrastructure experience (Kinesis, Flink, Redis/Valkey, Confluent/Kafka)
- AI/ML infrastructure or developer tooling experience (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, LLM-based workflows)
- Security and compliance practices at scale
- Incident and change management experience
- GCP Workload Identity Federation and cross-cloud integration experience
