## Required

- Deep experience in performance analysis of complex distributed systems
- Ability to diagnose issues across the entire stack from query optimizer to kernel level
- Expertise in either Linux kernel internals or database internals
- Strong knowledge of networking and cloud infrastructure performance
- Proven track record of turning performance insights into shipped improvements
- Strong written communication for precise problem characterization

## Nice to have

- Experience with kernel tuning for production workloads
- Familiarity with OrioleDB or Multigres
- Experience with observability tools and metrics collection
