- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Direct experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications or agents in production
- Experience leading technical projects end to end
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Hands-on experience implementing evaluation and monitoring systems for agents or workflows
- Understanding of AI system components including prompting, retrieval, orchestration, inference APIs, and model selection
- Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY

## Nice to have

- Expertise with LangChain or LangGraph
- Experience building or maintaining open source projects
