## Required

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years recent broadcast technician or technical director experience in news environment
- Previous experience in medium to major market
- Ability to operate live broadcast production equipment
- Understanding of live news production environments
- Flexibility for evenings, early mornings, weekends, holidays, and breaking news coverage
- Union membership in I.A.T.S.E Local 819

## Nice to have

- Vocational or technical school training
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree
- Experience with automated control room environments
