## Summary

Motive seeks a hands-on compliance leader to build and run the compliance program for its fast-growing commercial lending and payments business as it expands across North America and internationally. The role combines policy development, regulatory monitoring, and relationship management with banking partners, reporting to the Head of Risk.

## Required

- 8+ years compliance, audit, or risk management in lending, payments, or financial services
- Direct ownership of AML/BSA, KYC/KYB, sanctions, and PEP programs
- Hands-on experience managing compliance relationships with issuing banks or card networks including audits and remediation
- Multi-jurisdiction compliance program experience including Canada and UK/EU
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks for commercial lending, AML/sanctions, and payments in North America and Europe
- Ability to write policy and operationalize it through controls and monitoring that withstand audit
- Cross-functional partnership experience launching compliant products in new markets
- Strong written and verbal communication for external regulators, auditors, and bank partners

## Nice to have

- Additional international compliance experience in Mexico or other Latin American markets
