## Required

- Strong systems programming in Go
- Deep Kubernetes expertise including internals and custom resources
- Experience with cloud-managed Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS)
- Database deployment operations knowledge
- Distributed systems experience including consensus and failure scenarios
- Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code background
- Track record of building reliable, observable systems

## Nice to have

- CSI storage driver and storage orchestration experience
- Cross-cloud networking tools (Cilium, Istio, or service mesh)
- Experience with sharded query serving systems like Vitess
- Open-source infrastructure project contributions
