## Required

- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience
- Experience building, deploying, and operating distributed backend services at scale
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar language
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerized deployments
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and message brokers (Kafka, SQS, or similar)
- Understanding of architecture patterns, service boundaries, and API design
- Experience with observability and CI/CD practices
- Ability to work with stakeholders across teams
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

## Nice to have

- Frontend experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or modern web technologies
- Experience deploying into US federal systems
- Kubernetes in cloud environments
- Background in Math, Physics, AI/ML, or Orbital Mechanics
- Experience in high-availability or mission-critical environments
