## Required

- Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Food Engineering, Protein Science or related field, or 8+ years relevant R&D experience without degree
- Knowledge of scientific methods and product formulation
- Understanding of regulatory labeling and food safety requirements
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Project management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills with presentation ability
- MS Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel minimum 25% (12+ trips annually)

- Battered and breaded products experience
- Water jet portioning technology knowledge
- Cross-functional collaboration on innovation and IP development
