- 5+ years building and operating production backend or data platform systems

- SQL and NoSQL database experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Design systems with robust error handling, idempotency, and reliable delivery guarantees
- Productive in both Python and TypeScript
- Experience mentoring mid-level and junior engineers

## Nice to have

- Pipeline orchestration experience
- Web scraping or data acquisition at scale
- Vector databases or ML-adjacent infrastructure like embeddings and inference endpoints
- Big data experience with AI/ML platforms
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
