Crusoe seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Developer Experience team, building tools and infrastructure that enable all engineers to work efficiently across the entire software development lifecycle. ## Required

- 5+ years leading developer tools and/or infrastructure development
- Expert technical decision-making and infrastructure evaluation skills
- Fluent knowledge of industry-standard build tooling and containerization
- Hands-on Kubernetes cluster management and container orchestration experience
- DevOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or similar productivity-focused background
- Deep understanding of automated testing infrastructure and CI/CD integration
- Advanced Git-based workflow proficiency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

## Nice to have

- Experience informing long-term company technical objectives through developer advocacy
- Experience building AI agent platforms for engineering teams
- Linux image construction and package building experience
- Active open-source community involvement or demonstrated commitment to staying current with industry advancements
- Track record of automating complex, multi-layered technical solutions
