## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with RF focus plus 3 years communications systems development experience, OR Master's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with RF focus plus 1 year communications systems development experience
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer, and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of transmission line theory, S-parameters, Fourier transforms, link budgets, digital and analog modulation, power spectral density, and noise analysis
- Knowledge of basic antenna theory
- Knowledge of ancillary system design including thermal and mass properties
- Knowledge of basic printed circuit board design
- U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations

## Nice to have

- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages like MATLAB or Octave
- Experience with RF simulation tools such as HFSS
- Knowledge of Range Safety and Ground Safety compliance
- Knowledge of space environmental tests such as TVAC, EMI/EMC
