- 7+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, developer tooling, or infrastructure automation
- Very strong software engineering experience with developer platforms, internal tools, or infrastructure automation
- Very strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Significant experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and modern software delivery
- Significant AWS or equivalent cloud provider experience
- Experience with Docker or devcontainers for standardized development environments
- Strong understanding of secure software development and software supply chain practices
- Proven ability to design systems balancing security, standardization, usability, and developer productivity
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
- Expert troubleshooting across application code, build pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and networking
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities across platform engineering responsibilities

## Nice to have

- Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi, CDK, or Terraform
- Experience building or operating internal developer platforms or paced-road standards
- Experience with Coder, GitHub Codespaces, or cloud development environments
- Experience building reusable GitHub Actions workflows or developer onboarding tooling
- Kubernetes, container security, or base image lifecycle management experience
- Experience with artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory or Nexus
- Application security platforms or software supply chain controls experience
- Experience enabling AI-assisted development through governed tools and workspace patterns
