## Required

- United States citizen
- At least 21 years old at time of appointment, ordinarily not older than 37 (maximum entry age increased to 39, or 40 if turning 40 in month of appointment)
- 4-year college degree or 4 years of military experience
- Valid REAL ID U.S. driver's license with no revocations or suspensions in past year
- Pass comprehensive criminal history check covering past 10 years
- Pass credit check and not be in default on Federal student loans
- Pass psychological examination
- Pass medical examination
- Pass polygraph examination
- Pass Physical Readiness Test (300-meter run, push-ups, 1.5-mile run)
- Complete full field background investigation
- Complete all required training
- Complete probationary period
- Male applicants must be registered with Selective Service
- High school diploma or GED
- Show evidence of responsible driving in past year
