## Required

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years of medical stop-loss underwriting experience
- Knowledge of healthcare payers and health plan administration
- Advanced medical underwriting practices knowledge
- Analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions
- Broker and TPA relationship building capability
- State regulatory and compliance knowledge

## Nice to have

- Strong knowledge of ERISA plans and self-funding structures
- Cost containment background such as utilization review or managed care
- RN Medical Case Manager experience
- Collaborative and strategic mindset with attention to detail
