## Required

- 5+ years building and supporting large-scale production systems
- Strong Go proficiency
- Experience building and maintaining distributed, fault-tolerant services
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications
- Experience operating distributed systems at scale
- Deep understanding of OS concepts: multi-threading, memory management, networking, storage, performance

## Nice to have

- Database-as-a-service or managed database platform experience
- Connection pooling and Postgres proxy layer experience
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
- Open-source contributions in Postgres or database infrastructure
