## Required

- Hands-on experience running a hardware, systems, or datacenter lab or similar physical compute environment
- Knowledge of rack-and-stack, copper and fiber cabling, and power distribution including PDUs and circuits
- Working knowledge of server hardware management including BMC/IPMI/Redfish, BIOS/UEFI, serial console, PXE, and firmware updates
- Sufficient Linux and networking knowledge to provision bare machines for remote use
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, quotes, and freight for physical equipment
- Safe and competent use of power tools, bench power supplies, and ability to read wiring and rack diagrams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and know when to escalate
- Bias toward action and comfort making decisions with incomplete information

## Nice to have

- Experience standing up a lab or datacenter from scratch including layout, power and cooling planning, and initial procurement
- Experience with high-density accelerator systems (GPU/TPU-class racks), liquid cooling, or pre-release hardware bring-up
- Electronics bench skills including soldering, rework, oscilloscope and multimeter use, custom cabling, debug harnesses, and light fabrication
- Background supporting hardware security, firmware, or platform bring-up
- Experience with DCIM or asset-management tools like NetBox or ServiceNow
- Experience sourcing specialty or hard-to-find hardware and managing associated compliance and logistics
