This role maintains the structural integrity of commercial aircraft in active service through engineering analysis, repair design, and regulatory coordination. It suits experienced engineers with a background in airline or aircraft maintenance environments who can develop repair solutions, manage OEM communications, and ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum five years in airline engineering, MRO engineering, or OEM MRB environment
- Authorized to work in the US
- Experience developing structural repairs on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft
- Knowledge of Airbus and Boeing drawing systems, SRM, CMM, CML, and OEM service bulletins
- Ability to perform stress analysis for bearing, shear, joint strength, and repair design
- Experience contacting OEM for damage reports and repair approvals
- Experience preparing engineering documentation for technicians
- Experience assisting technicians in damage evaluation
- Ability to correctly classify repairs as major or minor
- Experience developing substantiation reports

## Nice to have

- A319/A320 structural repair and alteration development experience
- B737 Max structural repair and alteration development experience
- Prior liaison engineering experience at a commercial airline
- Experience developing engineering documentation from FAA and OEM documents
