## Summary

This role develops and maintains the six-degrees-of-freedom simulation software that guides Terran R rockets from launch through landing, integrating physics models and GNC algorithms. You'll work on trajectory analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop testing as part of a team building a commercial launch vehicle from the ground up.

## Required

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Proficiency with C++ or Rust
- Proficiency with Python or similar scripting language
- Experience developing physics-based simulations of aerospace vehicles
- Ability to work independently on end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced startup environment

## Nice to have

- Launch vehicle or space systems design and analysis experience
- Aerospace vehicle simulation experience with GNC algorithm integration or HITL testing
- High-performance computing implementation experience
- Software development practices such as Docker, CI/CD
