## Required

- U.S. citizenship or eligibility under VA policy
- English language proficiency in written and spoken form
- Six months of general experience demonstrating ability to learn NA skills, OR one year of education above high school in nursing/health-related field, OR completion of intensive NA-specific training program under one year
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform patient care activities

## Nice to have

- One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant or in related medical fields (LPN, health technician, hospital corpsman)
- Two years of education above high school in nursing care, health care, psychology, or related field
- Four-year degree including 24+ semester hours in health-related courses
