## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on code writing ability to solve technical problems
- Deep experience across multiple areas of the technology stack
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and make architectural decisions that others follow
- Ability to understand root causes across systems and drive end-to-end solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

## Nice to have

- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, and/or Python
- React and Redux experience
- Spring Boot and/or Node.js/Express experience
- Experience designing systems integrating with LLMs or AI/ML services including prompt engineering, model evaluation, RAG patterns, and vector search

- Data engineering experience with ETL pipelines, data lakes, and SQL analytics at scale
- SQL database experience (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Event-driven and microservice architecture, workflow engine (Temporal), or distributed systems experience
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Security, performance engineering, and observability in production systems understanding
- Strong product judgment and commitment to high-quality user experience
- Evidence of excellence via personal projects, open source contributions, or recognized domain expertise
- Experience providing technical direction across multiple systems or teams with recognized subject matter expert status
