## Summary

This role develops and deploys reinforcement learning controllers for Agility's Digit humanoid robot, enabling it to move safely and manipulate objects in real warehouse and manufacturing environments. You'll design RL policies, integrate perception systems, build training infrastructure, and ship production policies to robots already operating with major customers.

## Required

- 4+ years developing and deploying RL policies for robotics
- Strong Python skills and deep learning framework experience (PyTorch)
- Experience designing reward functions and tuning hyperparameters for control tasks
- Experience integrating perception into control for reactive behaviors
- Proven deployment of RL policies on real bipedal or quadrupedal robots
- Familiarity with robot simulation environments and sim-to-real transfer
- Collaborative approach and ability to deliver safe, high-quality software

## Nice to have

- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with contact-rich manipulation and force-torque or tactile sensing
- Familiarity with policy distillation techniques
- Publications in top ML or robotics conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CoRL, RSS, ICRA)
