- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years software development experience, OR MS in related field with 3+ years experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Strong Python programming skills
- Linux software development experience
- Modern software development practices including version control and debugging
- Academic background or foundational training in physics

## Nice to have

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- Geospatial data processing or remote sensing software development experience
- Database architecture design for geospatial or large-scale datasets
- Scalable software architecture design including distributed and service-based systems
- Geospatial services and APIs experience (WMS/WFS standards)
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- AWS cloud deployment experience
- QGIS or similar geospatial analysis tools
- Workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- Agentic AI frameworks for geospatial automation
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) familiarity
