- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8+ years post-graduate experience or equivalent
- CPA or equivalent accounting credential
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting
- Experience managing accounting teams
- Ability to work hybrid 3 days per week in San Diego office
- Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting
- End-to-end process orientation with analytical and project management skills
- Experience with enterprise financial reporting system implementations
- Ability to influence cross-functionally at all management levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

## Nice to have

- CPA credential
- MBA degree
- Software or SaaS industry experience
- Two or more years of public company audit experience
- Experience leveraging AI and automation in accounting processes
- Working knowledge of Oracle R12, Blackline, Coupa, or Kyriba
