- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- 7+ years of enterprise integration, middleware, or API development
- 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development with Mule 4 and CloudHub 2.0
- 2+ years developing cloud-native solutions in Azure with API focus
- Strong REST and SOAP API design and development experience
- DataWeave, JSON, XML, and data transformation expertise
- CI/CD pipeline and Git experience
- Integration troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
- Azure API Management implementation including policies and security
- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, certificates, API keys, and JWT knowledge
- Enterprise SDLC and secure development practices experience

## Nice to have

- Migration or modernization experience across integration platforms
- MUnit and automated API testing
- Enterprise Integration Patterns and event-driven architecture knowledge
- Observability and monitoring implementation experience
- Insurance or financial services environment experience
- Secure coding standards and API governance familiarity
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong ownership
