## Summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop simulation models and virtual environments for defence and security applications across air, land, and maritime domains. ## Required

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance
- Proficiency in C++, Lua Scripting, or similar programming language
- Familiarity with physics-based modelling and simulation systems engineering principles
- UK citizenship and current legal authorization to work in the UK

## Nice to have

- Version control system experience (Git, BitBucket)
- Agile development methodology knowledge
- DevOps, Automation, and CI/CD concepts
- Testing frameworks and unit testing experience
- Prior Software Simulation Engineer role or similar position
- Software Development Lifecycle and ISO 9001 standards experience
- Knowledge of defence collective training simulation protocols (DIS, HLA)
- COTS simulation and training environment development experience
- Strong object-oriented programming and software design principles understanding
