- Track record of turning a team around with specific examples
- Experience with both coaching and performance management in same period
- Can debate architecture with senior engineers on technical merits
- Owned a founder-tracked metric (conversion, pricing, revenue, reliability, cost) and acted on changes
- Managed people without direct report authority
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 8+ years building software including 3+ years managing engineers
- Burnaby on-site five days per week

## Nice to have

- Growth engineering background in experimentation, conversion, or monetization
- Enterprise or B2B engineering with customer-facing delivery and integrations
- Security and compliance experience with PII systems (SOC 2, access control, data governance)
