- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of threat research experience with focus on malware analysis
- Reverse engineering experience with file-based malware and exploits
- Understanding of disassembly and structured programming
- Deep knowledge of at least one major operating system and its internals
- Understanding of adversary kill chain and attacker behaviour
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into production
- Scripting or small automation project development

## Nice to have

- GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification
- Experience with public security testing programmes (AV-Test, AV-Comparatives, SE Labs)
- Experience with large datasets and tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch, or Kibana
- Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows
