## Summary

This role builds internal AI engineering platforms that help XPENG's engineers develop and deploy software more effectively, with a focus on agentic systems that can understand and act on engineering decisions across connected infrastructure. You'll design distributed systems, create automation for repetitive workflows, and work with internal teams to drive adoption of these developer tools.

## Required

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years building and operating production distributed systems
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Understanding of databases, message queues, caching, and API design
- Track record of automating manual processes into tools and self-service systems
- Hands-on experience with modern AI coding tooling and LLM APIs with tool use and function calling
- Experience with agentic systems or task orchestration platforms
- Strong cross-team communication skills

## Nice to have

- Familiarity with autonomous driving terminology and model development workflows
- Direct customer-facing experience in solutions engineering, technical onboarding, or developer relations
- Experience with data and domain modeling, semantic layers, or knowledge graphs
- Experience integrating with enterprise or operational systems
- Experience with evaluation frameworks and observability for LLM applications
- Familiarity with sandboxing and isolation technologies
- Open-source contributions to agent frameworks, MCP servers, or developer tools
- Track record driving adoption of developer tooling in engineering organizations
