- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading and managing staff
- Proficient in hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Experienced in hiring and developing next-level managers and leaders
- Proficient in project management: estimating, planning, executing, tracking, and reporting
- Proficient in leading multiple engineering teams across different technology stacks
- Experienced in designing distributed application systems that are modular, scalable, secure, and maintainable
- Experienced in leveraging DevSecOps to improve engineering efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams

## Nice to have

- Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experience leading customer-facing digital experiences across web, portal, and transactional flows
- Strong full-stack product engineering background with backend API and frontend expertise
- Property and Casualty insurance domain experience
