- 5+ years in quantum computing industry, national laboratory, or research institution
- Technical expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware and control systems
- Hands-on experience with scientific computing, high-performance computing, or GPU-accelerated software development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
- Frequent travel (approximately 40%) to national labs and conferences
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility

## Nice to have

- PhD in relevant field
- Active TS/SCI or DOE Q clearance
- Prior experience at or with DOE national laboratory or NQIS Research Center
- Familiarity with federal research funding and procurement mechanisms
- Prior developer relations, technical evangelism, or solutions architecture experience
- Experience with quantum control stacks, QPU calibration, or real-time systems
