## Summary

This contract role maintains and updates Udacity's cloud education courses across AWS, Azure, and GCP by analyzing performance metrics, fixing bugs, updating course content to reflect latest cloud service changes, and troubleshooting student access issues. The position suits experienced cloud engineers and developers who want to contribute to technical education while working flexibly as an independent contractor.

## Required

- Strong understanding of two of: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with cloud services: compute, database, networking, storage, backup, container, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with at least one CI/CD tool (preferably CircleCI or Github Actions)
- Experience with Docker containerization
- At least 2 years of software development experience, preferably in JavaScript or Python
- Experience with Git or GitHub version control
- Ability to debug and update Python-based exercises and projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving student-reported issues
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to write high-quality technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail with student-first mindset

## Nice to have

- Architect-level cloud certification
