## Required

- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 4+ years owning complex M&A and strategic investment accounting transactions end-to-end
- Active CPA license
- Significant Big 4 experience in National Office, Transaction Advisory, or Capital Markets/Accounting Advisory
- Deep command of US GAAP for business combinations, consolidation, equity method, and fair value measurement
- Experience with multiple closed acquisitions and minority/strategic investments
- Fluency in valuation concepts and ability to direct third-party specialists
- Prior deal-accounting or investments-accounting function experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

## Nice to have

- National Office or deal advisory background at Big 4
- Experience at high-growth or public technology company
- Expertise in ASC 805 including contingent consideration and replacement share-based awards
- Expertise in ASC 810, 323, 321 including VIE analysis and measurement alternative
- Expertise in ASC 820, 815, 825, 350, 360 including impairment testing
- Led accounting for carve-outs, divestitures, or spin-offs with SOX controls
- Prepared or reviewed pro forma financial information and registration statement disclosures
- Experience with novel AI/technology deal structures, acqui-hires, IP-heavy transactions, data arrangements
- Familiarity with AI tools including Claude for Finance
