- 52 weeks of specialized experience at GS-13 level or equivalent

- Experience interpreting and applying Federal, state, or local environmental laws and regulations
- Experience interacting with regulators and industry peers
- Experience leading environmental projects involving permitting, compliance inspections, pollution prevention, assessments, or sustainability
- Experience providing technical guidance on environmental engineering or regulatory compliance
- Experience supervising staff or managing environmental program operations
- Ability to pass a drug test
