## Summary

A systems engineer will lead or contribute to systems engineering work on a ground-based laser or beam-control program, managing requirements, coordinating across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software disciplines, and supporting design reviews and testing. This role suits experienced engineers comfortable with multidisciplinary collaboration, DoD security clearance requirements, and work that bridges customer needs with technical implementation.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience
- Experience with MBSE tools, system requirements development and management, and system verification and validation
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software disciplines
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S. person under ITAR definition

## Nice to have

- Current and active US DoD security clearance
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, optical, and software teams developing laser and beam control systems
- Experience with high-powered lasers and laser safety protocols
- Experience with prototype or low-rate production systems
- Experience executing large ACAT-1 or equivalent programs
- Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain it
