## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 0-3+ years of experience
- Strong C++ programming (C++14/17 or later) for real-time and safety-critical applications
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and kinematic models
- Clean, maintainable, testable code with software engineering best practices
- 5+ years designing and implementing embedded software
- C++ code optimization for speed and memory
- Unit and systems level testing experience
- Technical documentation creation

## Nice to have

- Familiarity with AV/ADAS components and concepts
- Experience with observability and visualization platforms like Datadog, Tableau, or Foxglove
- 2–5 years of professional Python development
- Robotic/autonomous frameworks experience (ROS/ROS2, Autoware, Apollo)
- Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet protocols
- Understanding of safety and software standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF, ASPICE, CMMI)
- Experience with software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and vehicle testing
- Research or industry experience in robotics or autonomy
