## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years designing electronics for harsh, mission-critical environments
- Expertise in mixed-signal and analog circuit design with sensor signal conditioning and filter design
- Experience designing control electronics for solenoid valves, brushless DC motors, pyrotechnic circuits, and similar mechanisms
- Experience interfacing with diverse sensors including pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, and flow meters
- Demonstrated use of RCCA methodologies including 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and fault tree analysis
- Proven ability to mentor and lead small engineering teams
- Experience driving rigorous engineering processes including requirements capture, design reviews, design verification, and FMEA
- Track record working with cross-functional teams to develop integrated controller solutions

## Nice to have

- Familiarity with embedded software development for real-time control systems
- Experience with design for reliability and manufacturability including DFMEA and qualification testing
- Technical expertise in power electronics including motor drives, switching circuits, and DC-DC converters
- Experience with communication protocols including CAN, RS-422/485, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
- Hands-on environmental testing experience including vibration, shock, thermal cycling, and EMC testing
- Knowledge of safety-critical design standards such as DO-254, MIL-STD-1553, and IPC-A-610
