## Summary

Crusoe seeks a systems-focused staff engineer to design and operate customer-facing managed services on their AI infrastructure platform, with particular responsibility for lightweight agent software deployed directly on customer systems. You'll balance building new features end-to-end with deep technical authority over edge computing architecture, Linux instrumentation, and cross-team collaboration.

- Systems programming expertise in Python, Go, or Shell scripting
- Experience instrumenting low-level system metrics and working with procfs
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals and Helm packaging

- Design for reliability, crash safety, and low resource footprint
- Proactive identification and closure of monitoring and alerting gaps
- Cross-domain technical leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Concise communication and proactive stakeholder management

## Nice to have

- eBPF experience
- Experience with pull-based metrics scraping architectures
- Familiarity with hypervisor and lower-level platform layer concepts
