- 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems or equivalent server-side infrastructure experience
- Production experience with a major cloud provider and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-code as default practice
- SLOs and error budgets as operating tools
- On-call experience with incident command and rollback capability
- Owned an architecture or migration from planning through launch with lasting consequences
- Found unowned work, scoped it, earned buy-in, and delivered without a spec

## Nice to have

- GPU and ML infrastructure experience including capacity planning, training, or inference pipelines
- Production security engineering experience with IAM, secrets, and supply chain
- Cloud cost modeling and commitment strategy experience
- CI/CD experience at monorepo scale and developer-environment work
- Experience with video, media, or GPU-backed workloads
- Experience on small teams owning large surface area
