## Required

- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Ability to independently drive large, ambiguous technical problems from definition through execution
- Experience designing and building cloud-based systems (AWS or similar)
- Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines
- TypeScript and/or Python
- React-based frontends
- SQL and database-backed systems
- Production-quality systems with emphasis on reliability, automated testing, and long-term ownership
- Cross-team communication with engineers, operators, and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make pragmatic tradeoffs

## Nice to have

- Experience at a small or growing startup
- React Native or mobile app development
- Agile/Scrum team experience
- IoT-connected systems or device data experience
- Embedded software concepts (C/C++) or hardware-adjacent systems knowledge
- Prior experience at a hardware company
