- 5+ years managing engineering teams
- 7+ years in data engineering or software engineering
- Strong background in modern data stack (Python, SQL, Airflow/Dagster, BigQuery/Snowflake, Kafka, Flink)
- Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP/AWS)
- Proven delivery of complex multi-quarter technical projects
- Exceptional communication of technical challenges to business stakeholders
- Demonstrated mentorship ability and people development focus
- Experience building data-driven decision-making cultures

## Nice to have

- Experience with bare metal, hyperscaler clouds, or GPU infrastructure
- Deep familiarity with AI/ML data requirements or HPC environments
- Background at high-growth startup where you built rapidly while scaling
