- 15+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or comparable high-technology industry
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and complex technical programs
- Experience leading full product lifecycle from concept through delivery
- Systems-level thinking and strong understanding of engineering principles
- Ability to scale engineering teams in fast-growing or complex environments
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and aligning technical execution with business strategy
- Executive-level communication, leadership, and organizational skills

## Nice to have

- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in relevant technical discipline
- Senior leadership roles within engineering organizations
- Experience driving engineering process improvements and organizational transformation
- Familiarity with governmental and commercial enterprise and quality management systems
