This role leads a newly created global commodity intelligence and analytics center for a major quick-service restaurant company, overseeing market forecasting, risk management, and negotiations across nine key commodity categories including proteins, grains, and packaging. The position suits an experienced commodity professional with deep expertise in FMCG or food service procurement who can blend commercial negotiation skills with advanced analytics and AI to drive procurement decisions across a complex global franchised business.

## Required

- 10+ years in global commodity procurement, trading, supply chain risk management, or commodity market intelligence in FMCG, food service, QSR, or agri-food
- Demonstrable expertise across at least three of the nine direct commodity categories (Sugar, Wheat, Soy, Corn, Pork, Beef, Chicken, Paperboard, Potatoes)
- Proven track record executing upstream raw commodity negotiations at significant scale
- Strong working knowledge of commodity markets and exchange mechanics (CME, CBOT, ICE)
- Experience with financial risk instruments (futures, options, swaps) and price risk management frameworks
- Experience building or leading a Centre of Excellence, intelligence function, or data capability in a complex global organization
- Experience managing external consultancies, market data vendors, and analytics platforms at enterprise scale
- Ability to operate and influence within global matrixed organizations with multiple brands and franchise networks without direct authority
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate market dynamics into business recommendations
- Executive presence and comfort presenting to C-suite and Board-level audiences
- Fluent in English
- Five days per week in-office work
