- Proficiency in a modern programming language and associated frameworks for designing and debugging distributed systems
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems and applying AI/ML concepts to production products

## Nice to have

- Large-scale customer-facing platform design and evolution using Java, event-driven and microservice architectures
- RESTful API design, data modeling, security, and service reuse expertise
- Operational excellence for high-traffic systems: observability, incident response, performance tuning, capacity planning
- Full-stack experience with React front-end and scalable cloud-native back-end integration
- Production experience integrating and operating AI/ML capabilities and developer AI tools
- Ad-tech, user targeting, experimentation, and data analytics experience
